1957年10月，“万里长江第一桥”建成通车。横跨汉阳龟山和武昌蛇山，武汉长江大桥拉开了中国现代化桥梁建设的序幕。建造此桥的中铁大桥局就位于汉阳，它见证了“武汉造桥天团”茁壮成长，将“天堑变通途”的事业扩展到全球。

In October 1957, the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, the first bridge on the river, connecting Tortoise Hill in Hanyang and Snake Hill in Wuchang, opened to traffic, marking the beginning of an era for China’s modern bridge construction. China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co., Ltd., the builder of the bridge, is located in Hanyang. Since then, the company has witnessed the growth of bridge building enterprises in China and the expansion of their businesses throughout the world.

站在桥面上放眼望去，鹦鹉洲长江大桥、杨泗港长江大桥依次坐落，还有彩虹般的晴川桥、双塔式的月湖桥、“蓝色童话”古田桥等。鹦鹉洲长江大桥下，还有个汉阳桥梁主题公园，以长约120米、高约3米的桥梁主题雕塑墙惊艳四座。

Looking around from the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, one can easily view the nearby grand Yingwuzhou and Yangsigang Yangtze River bridges as well as the “rainbow” Qingchuan, “blue fairy tale” Yuehu and “twin tower” Gutian bridges. Under the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, there is a bridge-themed park where a 120-meter-long and 3-meter-high bridge-themed sculpture wall impresses visitors.

As Hanyang’s bridge culture becomes popular, Wuhan Bridge Museum has come into being. Collections of various related materials, models and pictures along with 5D videos, panorama movies and VRs collectively showcase the history, culture, and technology of bridges.

龟山着青绿，月湖映流光。被誉为“武汉最美客厅”的月湖，串起了一片城市里的森林。威武盘踞的龟山，一直稳居历史上游览胜地榜单。前有唐代崔颢、宋代苏东坡等相继赋诗，后有八方游客络绎来此欣赏城市山水气脉。

Yuehu Lake, known as “the most beautiful reception hall in Wuhan,” links clusters of green woods in the city. Tortoise Hill has always been a popular tourist destination. It even appeared in poetry by ancient poets like Cui Hao in the Tang dynasty and Su Dongpo in the Song. Tourists from all parts of the world have come to enjoy its scenery.

古琴台中，聆江波抚琴。这里有“伯牙抚琴”汉白玉塑像、道光皇帝御笔亲书“印心石屋”等清代遗物，还有《琴台之铭并序》《伯牙事考》《重修汉阳琴台记》三大碑刻，带你重温旷古传奇的友谊故事。

The Guqin Terrace offers you a window with which you can catch a glimpse of the story of Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi. There are relics from the Qing dynasty there, such as the white marble statue called “Yu Boya Playing Guqin,” the Chinese characters “印心石屋” written by Daoguang Emperor, and three inscriptions, all of which depict the legendary friendship.

晴川阁里，吟垂青史。作为武汉唯一一处临江而立的名胜古迹，晴川阁充分体现了楚人“依山就势筑台、台上建造楼阁”的雄奇风貌，充满浓郁的楚文化气息。

The Qintai Grand Theater, built in the shape of a “guqin” (a Chinese seven-stringed ancient zither), has become the cultural center on Hanyang’s tourism map. The theater, which is nestled in a beautiful landscape, regularly charms audiences with the wonders of operas, dance dramas and musicals.
